I joined DA in May 2006 and did it so that I could view what was on show and as time went on I got to liking what I was seeing, especially the sigs & banners side of things, so I thought to myself, Why not give it a whirl and see what I come up with, so I did.
My first few months were basically looking at peoples sigs and trying to see how they did what they did. I tried but failed miserably then I met a guy calling himself Goose, who designed sigs for an online gaming clan and I loved his work so I got to asking him how he started and he said the best way to learn is from reading tutorials and trialling new stuff out as you go along.
Months after I really sat down and decided that now is the time to either stick with it and give it a real good go or just sit by and watch other people's work.
I'm now at a stage where I can comfortably design my own material with confidence and ease and on the plus side, things can only get better as I'm still learning stuff all the time about Photoshop and the way it works.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how wining it's done!

The angels said: We can only do seven Virtues.
The demons said: We can only do seven Sins.
As angels we can't hate. As demons we can't love.
All of them arrived at some conclusions: Humans are really lucky. They have freedom to do both.
